Summit Young Professionals - 2012 Event Schedule and Non-Profit Focus
Summit Young Professionals, a program of the Greater Brookfield Chamber of Commerce, announces their 2012 event schedule and non-profit focus. Summit events are held monthly at various Chamber member locations and rotate between educational and social networking events. Monthly volunteer events will also be scheduled.
New this year, Summit will be partnering with Greater Brookfield Chamber of Commerce non-profit members each quarter to help raise awareness and funds. Brookfield has exceptional corporate citizens and Summit would like to encourage the sense of stewardship within the community as well. The partner non-profits include: Safe Babies Healthy Families, Waukesha; Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Brookfield; Elmbrook Humane Society, Brookfield; Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts, Brookfield; and Sunset Playhouse, Elm Grove.
Summit events are designed for today’s young professional to further their personal and professional development. Non-members can join Summit for just $50 per year per individual.

Summit events are open to young professionals 21 to 30-somethings. Admission is $10 for Chamber and Summit members and $20 for first-time prospective members. Fees are subject to change. About Summit: Summit is the Greater Brookfield Chamber of Commerce’s young professionals organization. The mission of the group is to allow motivated young professionals (21 to 30-somethings) to build their network, learn from their peers and play an active role in supporting the greater Brookfield area through their community involvement. Summit meetings are held monthly at various Chamber member businesses. The topics of discussion will vary monthly, rotating from education and guest speakers to networking and community service events. The group will not only focus on what they can learn from their community and local businesses, but what the community can learn from their unique demographic.
