Summit Young Professionals meet for “Engaging a Multigenerational Workforce” program

Summit Young Professionals, a program of the Greater Brookfield Chamber of Commerce, recently held a mini-networking event and educational program titled “Engaging a Multigenerational Workforce” at the Best Western Plus Midway Hotel & Suites in Brookfield. The event was presented by Bonni Yordi, Ph.D., Director, Surveys and Business Research at MRA - The Management Association. Attendees learned about understanding the different generations and took away practical, hands-on tips that they can implement on a day-to-day basis.

Margaret Dunn-Watson of Safe Babies Healthy Families also shared with the group information about the valuable services they provide. Summit has partnered with Safe Babies Healthy Families during the first quarter of 2012 to help raise awareness and funds as well as volunteer.

About Summit Young Professionals: The mission of Summit is to allow motivated young professionals (21 to 30-somethings) to build their network, learn from their peers and play an active role in supporting the greater Brookfield area through community involvement. Meetings are held monthly at various Chamber member businesses.  The topics of discussion vary monthly, rotating from education and guest speakers to networking and community service events.
