Azana Salon & Spa announced Monday it is aiming to reopen its business on Saturday, Dec. 1st.

Repairs are ongoing after damage caused by the Oct. 21 mass shooting and sprinkler activation from a small fire set by the accused gunman, Radcliffe Haughton.

But the upscale Brookfield salon at 200 N. Moorland Rd. across from Brookfield Square mall said via its Facebook page that customers can resume booking appointments and purchase gift cards from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays starting tomorrow, Oct. 30, by calling (262) 784-4700.

Gift certificates can also be purchased online at www.azanaspa.com.

"We're working hard to rebuild and Dec. 1 is our goal to reopen," Azana ower Tami Gemmell said in a press release. "We want to stay connected to our customers by giving them the opportunity to book appointments and order gift cards."

"We ask that everyone please continue to keep the victims and their families in their thoughts and prayers," Gemmell said. "The community's love and support has been so heartwarming. We've received so many donations to the Azana Victim's Fund and the outpouring of ideas for fund-raisers is amazing.  We are so thankful.
