GOP corruption starts with Romney & Ryan and lies they've told us about their who they will serve and who they won't. Lies of "omission", such as hidden budget cuts, are equal to lies of "commission", such as telling the rich one thing and the rest of America another.

They're up to his necks in The Lying Game. What they say is all part of the larger GOP strategy. Believe me, Ryan "takes direction" in order to "stay on" the Republican message. He must "sing the GOP song" to be a GOP candidate.

All across the nation, millionaires are backing these liars. They want full control in order to create the final divide between rich and poor. "Us and them".

Their misjudgment? A lot of that 47% they despise is part of working America; students working their way through college, single moms restarting their lives with their first job since high school and truly poor mothers, working while the kids are at school, just to buy fuel oil for this winter and food for the day.

These are proud Americans. Romney has just stolen their pride, their will power and more...their dignity.

Men like Romney, Ryan and Republican candidates for Congress have no place in the seats of government (at any level) making decisions for "all Americans". They only have experience with the "jet set" and their "country club" members. That's okay, if you're running for Prom Queen, but the responsibilities here are far reaching and their vision does not include all Americans, as we've just found out.

The "proud Americans" know the people that Romney was talking about. Just look at the ratio, it is plain wrong that the number is that high. The system is broke, it is refreshing to hear a candidate tell the truth. Some of the people that you claim that they "despise" are millionaires that YOU despise. The people that need or deserve support from the system should stand with Romney against the people that are taking away from the system. After all, the pie can only be sliced so many ways, why would a senior citizen want a system that puts their social security at risk? It is the people that have no pride, no will power or no dignity that are offended by Romney's presentation of the truth.

@Gramps ... Obama believes in the redistribution of wealth and Romney doesn't. And any sensible person knows if they are or are not a freeloader, and if they are they will no most likely vote for Obama so that they can continue to skate through life on someone else's sweat. Most have little respect for a skate, and for those that are facing tough times, no one would question their need to obtain assistance. So, you are making a big deal out of nothing.

Gramps. If you're such an Obama believer, let's do a quick lesson in redistribution. I'll play the part of the Administration and you play the piggy bank. After all, that's how OBAMA views the TAX PAYING AMERICAN PUBLIC. Now all you have to do is hand me your check book, never mind you have to pay your mortgage, doctor's bills and buy groceries. I'm here to tell you that you have too much. I'm going to write checks to a couple of your neighbors because I don't feel they have enough. I'm gonna pay some bills for some unfortunate illegal immigrants in Texas because we ALL need to do our part and finally, I'm going to pay for Condoms for some women in FL who isn't responsible enough to abstain from sex or find it important enough to make her own provisions for safe sex. When I give you your check book back, you'll see that I've spent more than you have but that didn't concern me because you had checks ...... so I used them. Don't be angry about this, its redistribution Gramps. Your champion, OBAMA just showed you his understanding of economics.

@ Gramps - let's not forget that another of your neighbors has been very very fortunate indeed and hid his checkbook outside of the country and wines and cries and tries to buy elections everytime someone has the audacity to question what they contribute to the neighborhood. These are the same folks who say to your face they want small government and personal freedom, but yet want descision making abilities in your private lives... especially when it comes to your doctors office or bed room. You see, if your doctor wants to perscribe something, this neighbor wants to deny you this medicine because they think they know better then your doctor. And if you want the freedom to marry the love of your life, this neighbor wants to keep you from that because some Zombie Jewish Carpenter was, 2,000 years ago, a homophobe.

You see, Gramps, these wonderful "all-knowing" neighbors have no concept of reality or what it means to be in modern, educated culture. Indeed - they deride education in any form.

That's the Tea Pary - your present day Republican Party.

Did you miss the link when Hoffa posted it earlier? Or was it just another of your now infamous comprehension problems?

Obama held himself out to the retail book industry as being born in Kenya for nearly a decade, all in the name of trying to sell more books. So, if Obama really was born in Hawaii, as he now claims, then why did he lie to people for nearly a decade? How many book retailers stocked his book because they were falsely led to believe that Obama was some foreign exotic providing an international insight into American culture, a strong selling point for a book?

You honestly think it was mere coincidence that Obama only noticed the contradiction right before he decided to run for President and had his publisher correct the error? Yeah right - I'll believe that when my crap turns purple and smells like rainbow sherbert!

Obama committed fraud - pure and simple!

And the reason Obama won't release his college and grad school records - because he once again committed fraud by claiming to be a foreign exchange student, just like Democratic candidate for the Senate in Massachusetts, Elizabeth Warren, committed fraud when she listed on her employment application that she was a Native American!

Democrats = fraudsters!

Good gosh, seeing as he tells the TRUTH would be a GREAT qualification, along with the fact that he did NOT inherit his money and has not been married to Washington D.C, with no legislative accomplishments, for 14-years!

“Rob Zerban attended the Culinary Institute of America at Hyde Park, New York, a prestigious culinary school where he was trained as a chef and learned restaurant business management.
After several years of direct service and managerial experience, he went on to create two small businesses.
After selling his last business in 2008, he dedicated his life to public service. He served on the Board of Directors for the Wisconsin League of Conservation Voters. He also serves as an elected official in Kenosha County as a Board Supervisor.”

There are 6m more americans that have fallen under the poverty line since January of 2008

There are 47m people that have been put on food stamps since 2008

The US government handed out 800B in "stimulus" money since 2008,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,which did not create one job.

The US governmenent is running its 4th year of a trillion dollar deficit.

The US government has accumulated an additional 6Trillion dollars in debt since 2008

Living off of public handouts has become a career choice for many in the Milwaukee and other large cities, and Obama supports this. It took 15 years and a World War to finally pull us out of that one. Just as Roosevelt wasn't responsible for the conditions that led to the depression of the 1930s; Obama wasn't responsible for the horrible economic situation he walked into.

You are not going to significantly reduce government support until such time as we make the final transition from the traditional economy to the new economy of the Information Age. Obamacare needs to be repealed. Premiums have been going up ever since Obamacare passed, and not down as Obama promised they would.

When did Republicans vote to cut veterans benefits exactly?

The Veterans Job Corps bill was a disaster - it was nothing but a political pander to buy votes and smart non-partisan veterans, like Hoffa's father, realize this!

Obama's jobs bill was a joke - they were all government jobs that he wanted to create! Would 10 more cops writing speeding tickets while our nation debt continue to skyrocket out of control really make us safer?

When and how did the GOP restrict healthcare for women? Just because they expect women to pay their own way instead of having the government subsidize or provide it for them, that's somehow restricting them? Yeah, you definitely need to hit that dictionary harder!

What's so wrong with a Personhood Amendment? Everyone knows that if you engage in sexual activity, one of the natural results could potentially be conception. So why not expect people to take personal responsibility for their actions instead of allowing them to terminate a life?

"What has the Democratically-controlled Senate done all of this time?"

Only ended the Iraq war.

Rescued GM and made it the #1 selling automobile in the world.

Created 30 straight months of private sector employment growth.

Created OBAMACARE, the most meaningful and far-reaching healthcare system America has ever known, at a par with Social Security and Medicare.

And these, while the reptile party sat on their prodigious derrieres, collected $174,000 per clown, per year, and said, "NO!"

@John Wilson The Senate did not end the war in Iraq- the administration did. The Senate did not make General Motors the number one car maker in the world- heck, they are ready to call for bankruptcy again. Just this week they asked the Treasury Dept. to sell all GM stock to the market. Heck, if that were to happen the American people would lose 30% of their investment in General Motors. Think about it- the Senate is the most useless part of the US Government. Democrats are terrible with money!

@John Wilson Did you know that Obamacare was corrupted even before it reached Congress? That's right, the health care provider lobbyists got to the White House before the health care insurance lobbyists did. That is why Obamacare does not address health care costs. And another thing- the Senate didn't create all of those jobs- the private sector did dummy!

Of course, the private sector created those jobs... that is what I stated in a previous post " 30 consecutive months of private sector job creation." Did you think I was giving you credit for that? January 2005, Bush second term begins: 5.2% unemployment (rise of 1%)
January 2009, GW Bush leaves office: 7.6% unemployment (rise of 3.4% over eight years)

January 2009, Barack Obama takes office: 7.6% unemployment
August 2012: 8.1% unemployment (rise of 0.5%)

People like Obama are notoriously bad when it comes to fiscal responsibility .Look at Obama with his $10k suits or Michelle with her lobster and caviar vacations. This is my favorite time in politics, when the momentum of a presidential election really begins to accelerate. This is when the candidate(s) get a flavor of what it's like to be "on," 24/7 for weeks/months on end. Being a U.S. president is a #1 cause of premature aging. Being able to handle the laser focus of political, media, and world focus over a sustained period is an important quality.

Many people of my acquaintance voted George W. Bush in for a second term because they were afraid of a leadership change during a time of what they perceived to be unstable national security. We have faced a time of crisis in our economic security and I do believe that we need to stay the course with our recovery policies and re-elect President Obama. Others will disagree with me but I have heard absolutely nothing from Romney, who changes his mind/policies with the wind; or Paul Ryan, who has been a follower of socially subversive Ayn Rand since he was a youth; that convinces me that there is any other agenda on the table other to maintain and enact wealth-growth policies.

Still thinking that empowering, Hoover-era hope/goal of "A Chicken in Every Pot" is the best one for America. Providing opportunities for everyone to lift themselves up instead of stomping on the small hands trying to climb the latter of success and giving helicopter rides up the mountain to the biggest players.

Greg, I think in a time of economic crisis saving as many jobs as possible (think auto and financial industry bailouts, etc.) and keeping Americans fed are important goals. It took massive government spending in the forms of federal work programs and a world war to jump start the economy after the Great Depression, that's the formula that works (contrast/compare Greece v. post-earthquake Japan).

I personally "HOPE" that we get some bipartisan effort and compromise in Congress and CHANGE the mindset back away from "You People" back to "We the People."

Mr. Hoffa, I mentioned GWB as an exemplar. Realizing that quite a few here apparently have short-term memory issues (forgetting about the recession, record deficit handed to Obama, etc.) I thought I'd keep it current. Alas.

I do appreciate your comment about the mental health specialist, however. I realize that my exceptional multitextural cognition has been/is intimidating to some. What you are observing and reacting to is not an apparent instability on my part, but a bewilderment on yours as a result of the encounters with an intellect that is exponentially functional and capacitous. Regarding the PWC letter covering the Romneys’ tax filings over 20 years, from 1990 – 2009:

-In each year during the entire 20-year period, the Romneys owed both state and federal income taxes.

-Over the entire 20-year period, the average annual effective federal tax rate was 20.20%.

-Over the entire 20-year period, the lowest annual effective federal personal tax rate was 13.66%.

-Over the entire 20-year period, the Romneys gave to charity an average of 13.45% of their adjusted gross income.

-Over the entire 20-year period, the total federal and state taxes owed plus the total charitable donations deducted represented 38.49% of total AGI.

During the 20-year period covered by the PWC letter, Gov. and Mrs. Romney paid 100 percent of the taxes that they owed
