A year full of anniversary events began Friday with the traditional Founders Day assembly, with the two former Heads of School and members of the original class of 33 students in attendance.

Students from Brookfield Academy's inaugural class 50 years ago returned Friday to help kick off a year full of 50th anniversary events.

Tom Davis, a 1971 alum, delivered the keynote speech at Friday's traditional Founders Day assembly, attended by the 906 students in the 2012-13 student body, staff and alumni.
