The Brookfield East Girls Tennis Team competed in the Super 16 Tennis tournament in Green Bay Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 22 and 23.

They had a third place finish against 16 other teams from the south and west areas of Wisconsin.

Results were as follows:

• 1st round defeated Beaver Dam  7-0
• 2nd round defeated Middleton  4-3
• Semi-finals lost to Oshkosh West  5-2
• 3rd place Playoff defeated Kenosha Tremper 5-2
