East's Soccer Season Ends with Loss to Powerhouse Marquette

After defeating Kimberly on Thursday, the Brookfield East boys soccer team couldn't repeat the feat on Friday — and lost to defending state champions Marquette 3-1 in a semifinal game of the WIAA Division 1 state tournament.
East finishes the season with an 15-8-3 record, while Marquette improves to 22-1-2 and will take on Kettle Moraine in the state championship game on Saturday at the Uihlein Soccer Park in Milwaukee.
