Fall Back: When is Daylight Savings 2012?
Do dark mornings have you wondering when Daylight Savings Time ends? It's almost time to "fall back" those clocks and get an extra hour of sleep.
Bad news: those 7:30 a.m. commutes will get darker before they get lighter. Good news: you'll get an extra hour of sleep (or whatever you want to do with it) next weekend.
At 2 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 4, Daylight Savings Time officially ends. That's when you'll need to remember to "fall back" and set your clocks back one hour. Many electronic devices automatically adjust when Daylight Savings Time begins or ends.
And when you change your clocks in the fall and spring, it’s a great time to change smoke detector batteries and check to make sure devices are in working order.
Arizona, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, U.S. Virgin Islands and American Samoa do not observe Daylight Savings Time.
Daylight Savings Time begins again on March 10, 2013.
