Fire Causes $127,500 Damage To Brookfield Home

No one injured in fire that was brought under control in 30 minutes by Brookfield, Town of Brookfield and Elm Grove firefighters.

 

No one was injured in a house fire Thursday afternoon in the City of Brookfield. 

The blaze brought out at 4:30 p.m. in an unoccupied house at 18555 Glenwood Lane and was brought under control by firefighters in about 30 minutes. 

"First arriving units reported heavy flames in the rear of the building and smoke coming from all side of the roof," the Brookfield Fire Department said in a statement. 

Town of Brookfield and Village of Elm Grove responded to the fire.

The cause is unknown, pending an investigation. Damage is estimated at $127,500.
