Goodwill May Be Coming To Brookfield

Store will be at 18605 W. Blue Mound Road in a 21,000-square-foot building.

Brookfield may be home to a Goodwill store if approved by the common council, according to Tom Daykin of the Journal Sentinel.

The store will be at 18605 W. Blue Mound Road in a 21,000-square-foot building, Daykin said in his piece.

The building, which is currently an OfficeMax, will be used for both retail and a drop-off center for donations, Daykin wrote. OfficeMax has two years remaining on its lease with an option renewal, according to Daykin.

Cheryl Lightholder, a spokesperson for Goodwill, told Daykin that the "an analysis of customer demographic information shows that Goodwill draws substantial numbers of shoppers and donors from Brookfield."
