Apparently you dont get the point...Its a reason to have sense of community and an event for families. Its not about the Christmas tree.

Christmas tree. When we start renaming the Menorah, the Star of David, and every other religious symbol, then we can start renaming the Christmas tree.....

The headline is from a for profit news web site. It's not a government publication and certainly not a religious one. Its reason for being is to make a profit. If that means the use of creative new terms to avoid offending someone and keeping them in their customer base, then they'll do it.

This whole notion of starting a public food fight (anonymously, I notice) over a choice of words is the very reason why the Republicans lost a few weeks ago. If you want the power, come up with a different plan. This sort of "my way or the highway" because EVERY issue is a "core value" will soon make you irrelevent.
