Stars and Stripes Honor Flight is asking the public to share veterans' stories this weekend as a way to help spread the word and honor the sacrifices made by these soldiers.
As part of the organizations "#DoMore" campaign, the group has issued its Memorial Day Challenge of getting, "50,000 views for this video about Harley-riding Ryan Jazak, who accompanied a vet on an Honor Flight with the support of his brother serving in Afghanistan," according to the website.
Late Friday afternoon, the video had just under 2,000 views.
The challenge is also additional promotion for the Stars and Stripes upcoming Field of Honor event in Miller Park.
Stars and Stripes Honor Flight recently partnered with event organizers of the Milwaukee Air & Water Show to honor veterans and military service men and women during the August event that will bring together thousands of veterans and feature the world premiere of the organization's documentary.
The U.S. Navy Leap Frogs Parachute Demonstration Team will jump into Miller Park Stadium during the Field of Honor event, a press release from Stars and Stripes said. The event will now also include a "special flyover from the Lima Lima Flight Demonstration Team, the world’s only original six aircraft civilian formation aerobatic team."

"We are delighted to team up with our friends from the Milwaukee Air and Water Show," said Joe Dean, Port alderman and chairman of SSHF. "This promises to be a weekend extravaganza!"
The event now also features a 2-for-1 ticket deal at Sunday’s Air & Water Show performance, the press release said. Attendees can bring their Field of Honor ticket stub to the Air Show Reserved Ticket Booth located on Lincoln Memorial Drive and receive a buy-one-get-one free reserved ticket for Sunday’s air show. The reserved ticket area includes private open-air seating and prime viewing of the air show performers at Center-Point.
Stars and Stripes Honor Flight is a branch of the National Honor Flight Network, and Dean started this branch in Wisconsin.
