Lilly Road to Close for Capitol Drive Construction

Lilly Road will close temporarily during the Capitol Drive construction this summer.
Lilly Road between Newall Drive and Ranch Road at Capitol Drive is planned to close July 23 and reopen about Aug. 31, the state Department of Transportation said Friday.
Local traffic and access to businesses will be maintained.
But motorists may want to try other ways to get to the Elmbrook School District offices and Immanuel Baptist Church near the road closure.
The DOT recommends motorists approaching the closed parts of Lilly Road take these detours:
- Northbound on Lilly: head east on Burleigh, north on 124th and northwest on Lisbon
- Southbound on Lilly: head southeast on Lisbon, south on 124th and west on Burleigh
State officials urged all drivers to proceed with caution in and around the construction project.
