I strongly oppose the mosque being built on this site, as this will most definitely and severely congest traffic in this area so close to our city hall, banks, and ruby isle shopping center. This is supposed to be a quiet neighborhood area and the mosque should be built on a more busy and larger traffic street like Brookfield Rd or Capitol Drive where there are more lanes to handle the traffic stream. I have been a resident here for over 10 yrs and will not like this part of Brookfield lose its appeal because of the location of this mosque at this site. It will hurt our property values and it will make me want to move away from the city and not be appealling for future homebuyers who will be turned off by the congestion here.

I agree with imelda, there is a pattern of mosques being built..to turn non-islam people off. They want people to move away so they can take over that area. 5 times a day call to prayer, loud speakers to announce this, other meetings, etc.

The congregational prayer is held only once a week on friday & concludes at 2pm which is not the busy hour. There would be a right turn lane which will actually improve traffic flow during morning & evening rush hours. The call to prayers is not made over loud speakers.

That comes close to being the silliest thing I have ever read. That area of Brookfield is about to lose its appeal because a church is being built? It's the new church -- not the banks, restaurants, Ruby Isle shopping center, city hall, library, police station, municipal court, Brookfield Central, the medical and office buildings, the gas station, the post office, the housing development behind the post office ... or even the other two denominations of churches at Calhoun and Gebhardt-- that is going to overrun the area with traffic! Riiiight.

Congratulations to the Patch team! An innovative way to cover a rather complex and crowded meeting.
