Archery
West Town Archery of Brookfield is offering instruction for youth and adults. The fee is $40 per archer for the complete set of (4) one-hour classes. Each student will receive a one-hour shooting pass with equipment to use at a later date of their choice.
Youth (ages 8-16) classes are scheduled for:
- January 9, 16, 23, 30: 5 to 6 p.m.
- February 4, 11, 18, 25: 7 to 8 p.m.
- March 4, 11, 18, 25: 7 to 8 p.m.
- April 8, 15, 22, 29: 7 to 8 p.m.
- May 6, 13, 20, 27: 7 to 8 p.m.
Adult (ages 14-up) classes are scheduled for:
- February 6, 13, 20, 27: 5 to 6 p.m.
- April 3, 10, 17, 24: 5 to 6 p.m.
- May 8, 15, 22, 29: 5 to 6 p.m.
Learn to Ice Skate
The Ponds of Brookfield is offering introductory ice skating lessons for youth and adults. The four-week program meets from 4 to 4:30 p.m. on Sundays. Two sessions will be offered:
- January 13 to February 3
- February 10 to March 3
The per-person cost is $40 (resident), $60 (Elmbrook School District resident) and $80 (non-resident).
No-School Play Day
Friday, Feb. 22 is a day off of school for the Elmbrook School District.
Brookfield East High School, 3305 Lilly Road, will host a FREE play activity event in the Field House from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Children ages 8 and younger can bring their big wheels and other small bicycles (no skateboards, razor/scooters, large bikes or in-line skates). Basketballs, jump ropes, hula hoops and more will be available for play.
