Tell us in the comments why it's your favorite fish fry - great fish? savory slaw? tasty potato pancakes? good rye bread? Thanks!

Silver Spur in Brookfield definitely has the best fish fry! The beer battered fish is light and delicious...you can get it with either homemade potato pancakes or great fries, coleslaw, applesauce and homemade clam chowder! You can also get a perch fry or a delicious baked fish!

silver spur at the old location would get my vote everytime but in the new elm grove location the consistency isnt there. When it is good it is GREAT but when it is bad it is GREASY bad

Like I said on Facebook.... contests are like elections in that it's all about TURNOUT. The restaurants that get more people to vote for them have the best shot at winning the title. :)

The Silver Spur has the BEST Fish Fry in the area! Their pan-fried perch is my favorite with their homemade potato pancakes. It comes with a cup of their homemade Clam Chowder soup. Their Southwest Tarter Sauce is awesome. The bread is fresh-baked, warm right from the oven. They even offer a child size portion for the kids! The best part is they take reservations, even on Friday nights! I recommend everyone try the Silver Spur for a Fish Fry! During Lent they even offer it on Wednesdays!

I gotta say I really like the Red Mill Fish Fry. Good price, fun atomosphere and great fish. Actually like the Baked Cod more than the fried.

I do try to get to the Red Mill as often as possible on Friday nights. Both their baked and beer battered fish are quite tasty. Their light beer batter is the perfect balance to add taste but not take away from the fish. Also have pretty good rye bread and coleslaw.

My husband and I love the Silver Spur for a Fish Fry or any other night of the week. We make reservations and come in a bit early to enjoy a drink at the bar with their friendly staff. The Clam chowder soup is the best; Manhattan or New England they are both magnificent soups! See you all Friday night!!!

I was at the Silver Spur last night. They are offering their Fish Fry on Wednesdays through lent. Their beer battered cod was great! Crisp and lightly breaded served hot. My son had the kid portion and loved it. Their fresh baked bread was really good. We will be back for many many more! Thanks Silver Spur!!!

I have been a Silver Spur customer since they were located on Greenfield Ave. in New Berlin. Like a fine wine, they have just gotten better with age. Best Fish Fry included.
