Readers' Choice Poll: Who Serves Best Breakfast or Brunch?
Vote for your favorite place to enjoy a relaxing breakfast or brunch.
Whether it's Mother's Day brunch (don't forget: May 13) or just a lazy weekend breakfast out, Patch wants to know who has the best morning menu.
Do you like made-to-order eggs or omelets? Fresh fruit? Lots of syrup, cinnamon and powdered sugar? Steak, ham and more meats? Hash browns? Or a huge buffet with all of the above?
Or maybe it's more about the atmosphere. A cheerful, sunny, start-your-day nook.... A loud diner with dishes clanking.... A counter with spinning stools or a white-napkin table with full-service waiters.
Vote for your favorite Brookfield breakfast/brunch spot and tell us why in the comments below. Voting ends at 9 a.m. Friday, with the winner announced Friday afternoon.
The winner will be selected based on the poll votes and comments, as well as ratings (5 stars is the best) and reviews given on the restaurants' Patch business directory listings. Click on restaurant names below to see their listings (except Penelope's and Nora B's).

First Watch, hands down. Great balance of protein packed and sweeter menu options. Humane and organically raised produce and eggs puts us at ease. Great prices!

Why is Old Country Buffet even on the list? It's no longer in Brookfield.

First Watch has the best menu. I always leave very satisfied, yet not feeling like I ate too much. Although their service can be slow (takes a while to get coffee at the table), the owner has always been there when I have eaten there and is very friendly. Good to see his pride in the restaurant.

Remember to leave a comment with your vote - help your friends and neighbors by telling them what you like about your fave spot - Something on the menu? The owners' friendly welcomes? The decor? The prices?

Never heard of Nora B's, but judging from the overwhelming number of votes for that establishment, I think Gary and I are going to have to check it out!!

Nora B's for sure! If you're hungry for breakfast I recommend the Spinach, Mushroom and Swiss omlette YUM!! If you're around for lunch and your tummy is telling you to eat.....Nora B's has the best Turkey Ruben followed with some Sweet Fries and every now and then when I feel the need to be naughty (shhhh, don't tell) it's the Patty Melt, still with Sweet Fries (my weakness)!!

Nora B's is awesome! They will customize any dish for anyone! Their pancakes are fantastic and there's always something new and exciting for a lunch special. Their corned beef hash has changed my life and I cannot eat anyone else's as a result. SO GOOD!

NORA B's is a must...for breakfast or Lunch (check out their new lunch menu...wow)!!! I am partial to the Spinach/mushroon swiss cheese omlet....substantial & oh so good! The Yogurt.granola.fruit parfait is another favorite of mine.
With a dynamite chef, cheerful waitstaff & a comfortable & homey atmosphere..... Nora B's is the place to go to in Elm Grove for breakfast, brunch or lunch! Oh & If you are real lucky you may meet the adorable owner Nora!! Gotta love her too!!

Nora B's - spinach mushroom swiss omlette is a favorite as is the corned been hash. They even grow their own tomatoes and seasonings out front during the warmer months. The chef will customize anything for you. Chef Chris and Tom do a superb job in the kitchen!
