Brad Courtney may be one of the perfect poster child's for a stalwart modern ultra conservative Republican.
Born with the proverbial silver spoon, he earns his money the old fashion way --- in a family business that was built by others.
He is a former State Chair of the Republican Party.
He fits right in with the anti woman equality stance of the Republicans and on their disdain for healthcare equality.
In conversation with him, he told me that he resented that his family's company had to include coverage for pregnancy and pre natal coverage.
He said that pregnancy was not a disease, but a choice a woman makes, and that a company like his should not have to support her or the baby's care with insurance coverage, which raises their cost for coverage.

What exactly is wrong with a family business? When you start a post with stupid claims, your "conversations" become less than credible.

“In conversation with him, he told me that he resented that his family's company had to include coverage for pregnancy and pre natal coverage.”
David, can you back this statement up with an audio recording, or perhaps video of Mr. Courtney making this statement? Or are supposed to just believe it because you say that he said this?

@Greg Nothing wrong with a family business whatsoever.
My point, which you missed either because I was not succinct enough, or you were not astute enough, is that here is someone who has been given everything and yet is resentful that he has to spend money to provide maternity benefits for women employees ---- a lack of empathy in my book, that seems to be prevalent among many conservatives.

I am astute enough to know that working in a family business does not equate to being given everything. And when you support statements in your 'conversations" on these unfounded preconceived ideas, you come across as a simple hack.

@ Atthec44 -- of course I always tape record all conversations I have --- NOT --- but you can always ask him yourself
@ Greg Well I guess it may depend upon what kind of family business, what your job is, and how much you are paid for doing it. In Brad's case these are hardly unfounded preconceived ideas, having been a past State Chair of the Rep Party, and being active now, and having been part of Walker's campaign organization, you can find all kinds of folks who know his background --- make some inquiries and do some research, you might find answers to substantiate my opinions and beliefs, and since I do not hide behind a pen name as you do, I do not make statements like this unless I know them to be true --- so quit hacking and start researching if you have any doubts as to my voracity .

Just as I expected, you state that Mr. Courtney fits right in with the “anti woman equality stance” of the Republicans but you have no evidence to back it up. Except, of course, for a conversation you claim to have had with him.

@Atthec44 --- Like I said Ask Him --- he is a public figure and he has always seemed to have the courage of his convictions ---
@Greg --- Did you go to MPS? Maybe you would understand better if you had gone to a Charter School !

The best part is, the word implies a consistent accuracy or correctness in one's statements and communications.
Stuff that in your "I'm more educated than you" attitude.

Attention Whitefish Bay Seniors on Medicare and All Others Using Government Assistance!!!
This is what Mitt Romney thinks of you and ALL OF AMERICANS dependent on government support:
“There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what. All right, there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it. That that's an entitlement. And the government should give it to them.”
“..my job is not to worry about those people. I’ll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives”
Mitt Romney, speaking at fund-raising dinner, Spring 2012

Romney is wrong for America. He and Ryan are wrong for Whitefish Bay. Both are empty suits blowing hot air instead of substance. Wisconsin has a wonderful opportunity this Fall. We can support Obama and stay the course. Plus! we can reject Paul Ryan twice!

On the eve of the 1st Anniversary of the Occupy Movement the Progressives like David T. seem to think the wealth in America belongs to everyone. So if you have something, and the Progressives like David want it, it's theirs. According to these radical Progressives, we need to sacrifice our hard work and success for the leeches of society. The leeches deserve everything they want. It doesn't matter if you worked for it. It's not yours according to the redistributionist’s. According to them, you stole it from the poor. I don't know about you but, I've never seen rich people wandering the streets and mugging poor people. That's the Progressives delusional way of thinking. Work hard and get ready to give up what you own on the basis of equality for all.Let me tell you this, keep an eye on your retirement accounts 401K’s IRA’s ect. Obama has already hinted that he wants all of those ‘white’ 401K’s taxed. They need that money NOW so it can be distributed to the disadvantaged (leeches) of our society. Vote Obama out of office on November 6th, the freedoms we hold sacred are on the line. Obama MUST be defeated.

Yet the low information voters will cast their votes for the fool.
...Maddow asked Corn about his reaction to the content of Romney’s message, saying, “I find it in raw terms, just hearing him dismiss half the country as victims who are dependent on the government that he’s not worried about, I find it to be raw and grating, but the campaign is trying to spin it in a different way.”
“What he’s saying on this video,” Corn replied, “it doesn’t take a close listen. Everybody, not just some, but everybody who voted for Barack Obama comes from this part of America where they believe they’re entitled to health care and food and you name it. And they don’t believe in personal responsibility, they don’t take care of themselves and they don’t pay taxes. So, he’s equating half of the electorate with a band, with a mass of moochers who believe they’re victims of society.”
He concluded, “People can judge for themselves what level of disdain that shows, but the spinners trying to protect Mitt Romney are not dealing with the words he actually said.”
Corn also revealed that there is more footage to come.
“There will be more very soon,” he promised, “on Mitt Romney and what he told those people at that fundraiser.”...
