Brookfield Central's Todd Sobrilsky has been named Wisconsin's Athletic Director of 2012.

The Wisconsin Athletic Director's Association has been giving this award since the 1970's.

Sobrilsky joined the Brookfield Central High School staff in 2010 after serving as an athletic director in Green Bay.

He has established himself as an individual that has a vision for athletic excellence, sportsmanship and a commitment to the students at Brookfield Central, according to a memo from the Elmbrook School District.

Sobrilsky received the highest professional certification awarded by the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association  as a Certified Master Athletic Administrator. 

He also earned a bachelor's degree in history, a master's in Professional Development, and a second master's in Educational Leadership.
