Two Accused of Selling $4K in Pot to Police Informant

The suspects were arrested after selling a half pound of marijuana in the parking lot of Brookfield Square mall, charges allege.

Two men sold $4,300 worth of marijuana to a police informant over the course of three meetings in the parking lot of Brookfield Square mall, charges allege.

Devin M. Kornuth, 18, of West Allis, and Michael A. Terry, 23, of Milwaukee, each were charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Thursday with three counts of manufacture and delivery of THC, the active ingredient in marijuana. If convicted, they each face up to 10 ½ years in prison and $30,000 in fines.

According to the criminal complaint:

On March 13, a police informant working with the Waukesha County Metro Drug Unit set up a deal with Kornuth in the parking lot of Brookfield Square to purchase two ounces of marijuana. Kornuth showed up and completed the deal for $750, which was under surveillance by police officers.

On May 1, Kornuth agreed to sell a quarter pound of marijuana to the informant. Kornuth and Terry met the informant in the mall parking lot, selling a shopping bag full of marijuana for $1,250.

On May 22, the informant set up a third deal with Kornuth, who showed up in a car with Terry and another person. This time Kornuth sold a half pound of marijuana for $2,300.

They were pulled over by police officers shortly after leaving the lot. Officers found $200 in Kornuth’s sock and $2,100 in a small compartment near where Terry had been sitting in the car.

A warrant was issued for Kornuth's arrest. Terry was being held in the Waukesha County Jail.

The amazing stuff about this is, that you can play 36 holes on it in the afternoon, take it home and just get stoned to the bejeezus-belt that night on this stuff. Here, I've got pounds of this.

Dudes, grass is still illegal! Stay in school.
