PHOTOS: Zombies Invade Waukesha — For a Good Cause

No, it's not a scene for a new horror movie - it's the 2012 version of a fun walk to benefit to the Waukesha Food Pantry and HAWS.

Zombie Cory Satka, of Waukesha, is being controlled by zombie hunter Sabrina Hildebrant of Waukesha.

It may have been a cold and wet Saturday afternoon, but that didn't stop nearly 100 people from coming out of their crypts to support the Waukesha Food Pantry and HAWS for the third annual "Zombie Walk" in downtown Waukesha.

Zombie participants donated non-perishable food items and money to benefit the local organizations.

In addition to the walk, members of the Aspire Dance Studio performed their rendition of Michael Jackson's "Thriller."

What a wonderful fun event. We had guests over and their quiet residential neighborhoods in the suburbs have never been invaded by the living dead. They will be back next year for more. Thanks to George, Holly, Sabrina and whoever else is responsible for this great even.
