The Brookfield Farmers Market runs from 7:30 a.m. to noon on Saturdays from May 5 through Oct. 27. The third Saturday of the month is vendor day. The market is held in the Civic Plaza next to City Hall, 2000 N. Calhoun Rd.

Incorporated as a city in 1954, Brookfield is a strong mix of residential and commercial development.
