Downtown Madison will celebrate the grand opening of its new Dunkin’ Donuts restaurant at 801 S. Park St. on Saturday, Jan. 26.  Special guests District 13 Alderman Sue Ellingson and David Kussow, director of pediatrics at St. Mary’s Hospital, will attend to help commemorate the opening.

Beginning at 7 a.m., St. Mary’s Hospital staff and volunteers will be on hand to accept donations for the hospital’s pediatrics department.  Each person who makes a donation that morning will receive a Free DD travel mug and coupon for a Free Medium DD coffee, no purchase necessary. 

From 8 – 10 a.m., Z104 will broadcast from the restaurant, with special promotions and activities for guests, including $10 DD cards for the first 104 guests who arrive at 8 a.m.. 

At 9 a.m., the ribbon will be cut and Director of Pediatrics David Kussow will thank the crowd for supporting St. Mary’s.  Since the Dunkin’ Donuts on Park St. opened on Dec. 21, guests have been invited to donate to The St. Mary’s Hospital Pediatrics Department. With each donation, donors were recognized with heart-shaped stickers on the walls and windows of Dunkin’ Donuts.   At the ribbon cutting, Dunkin’ Donuts will present a check for $1,500 to The St. Mary’s Hospital Pediatrics Department plus the community’s donations.
