Brookfield East Forensics 11th GMC Tourney Victory

The Brookfield East High School (BEHS) Forensics Team won the Greater Metro Conference Tournament for the 11th year in a row. The tournament took a hiatus for the 2013 season and resumed in 2014 on February 15 at Marquette University High School. Even with a new rule limiting the size of large teams the team came out on top. Head coach Katie McClellan was very proud of the Spartans continued success at this local area tournament.

Oral Interpretation of Literature - Anatalia Ashcroft, 2nd place

Oratory - Apoorva Selvaraj, 1st place

Play Acting - Michelle Lazar & Bella Hyndiuk, 1st place

Poetry - Rija Rehan, 1st place; Elizabeth Smurawa, 2nd place; Niyaz Nurbhasha, finalist; Simran Kaur, finalist

Prose - Elise Kreger, finalist
