Brookfield Village Tree Lighting Ceremony

Brookfield Village Holiday Tree Lighting to be held on December 5th, 2013 in Brookfield Village

 

The Historic Brookfield Village will be having their 2nd annual Holiday Tree Lighting in the Village on December 5th, 2013 at 4:45 pm. The event will be held in the Village at 2925 N. Brookfield Road.

Mayor Ponto will speak at 5:30 and Santa will lead the lighting of the tree.

The evening will feature performances from the dancers at the Brookfield Dance Academy and children of the Mary Linsmeier School/Edu-Care will lead the caroling.

 

Please stop by the Mary Linsmeier School to make a Holiday Card for a Veteran. Refreshments of Hot Chocolate and Cookies will be served.

 

Bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the Waukesha Food Pantry:

 “Big 8 to Donate”: Canned Fruit, Canned Protein (Stews), Breakfast Cereal, Mac & Cheese, Cream & Chunky Soups, Chicken Noodle Soup, Canned Vegetable and Peanut Butter & Jelly.

 

 In the Spirit of the Holidays, businesses along Brookfield Road will be decorating trees.

 

Parking will be available on Brookfield Road, in the Pleasant Street parking lot and at McCoy Field Park, just west of Brookfield Road, on Wilderness Way.
