Mr. Lid Outdoors to Unveil New Product Partnership with Prime Leather at Pheasant Fest 2014

Sussex, WI (November 19, 2013):  Mr. Lid Outdoors, the rapidly expanding outdoors brand of local plastics manufacturer, Sussex IM, is excited to announce a partnership with Prime Leather Finishes of Pewaukee, WI, to showcase new product offerings at Pheasant Fest 2014.

“With Pheasant Fest 2014 being hosted in Milwaukee for the first time ever, the show is the ideal platform to promote the expansion of Mr. Lid Outdoors product offerings,” says Brad Heidel, Director of Corporate Sales at PF. “This is a great opportunity to get the word out on products that the 30,000 in attendance will appreciate.  You have unique products, direct from US sources, that value partnership and choose to give back to PF and other conservation organizations through royalty based contributions.  It’s a win-win-win scenario.”  The new combination of Mr. Lid designed containers with Prime Leather products will be highlighted during the show, February 14 – 16, 2014, at the Wisconsin Center in Milwaukee, WI.

Mr. Lid Outdoors and Prime Leather Finishes, a manufacturer of fluid coatings for leather products, have partnered to offer new re-useable packaging solutions for some of Prime Leather’s most popular consumer products.  All Mr. Lid containers feature one-piece construction, ensuring “You never lose the lid,” as well as a patented airtight seal and a lifetime warranty. Remarked Terry Welch, President of Prime Leather Finishes: “The Mr. Lid product platform provides us a truly unique customizable storage solution that’s ideal for leather products such as conditioners and sealers.  Both of our companies are dedicated to providing solutions to our customers, and many of our end-users are outdoor enthusiasts.  Our partnership was a natural fit.” Prime Leather Finishes is also parent company of Prime Coatings, which supplies the outdoor industry with coatings products used by Browning Firearms, as well as ATV, bow, and decoy manufacturers.

Mr. Lid Outdoors Brand Manager, Greg Gierach, reinforces the company’s commitment to serving the outdoor market: “We’ve worked diligently to create a strong foundation of robust, reliable, and functional packaging.  Anything that can help keep you organized in the field, on a trip, or around camp becomes a staple quickly.   We are focused on expanding into a ‘value add’ approach for MLO customers.  The products we are incorporating into our Mr. Lid containers are products that hunters and outdoors people can really use, and once they are gone, you have the benefit of a reusable Mr. Lid storage container.  Starting this up has come with some challenges, but it has tested our creativity and we are really looking forward to the future.”
