A Shore Thing: Beaches Popular Today

The six-acre quarry lake at Fox Brook Park was a popular place as families sought relief from the muggy temperatures in the 90s.

With record heat index temperatures this week, families headed to their favorite watering holes for relief. Fox Brook Park was busy as parents and children tried to get a break from the heat. 

Brookfield Patch also posted  providing the city's forecast, tips on avoiding heat exhaustion and a long list of places to go to cool off this week.
