Chicken & Waffles, Anyone?
Apparently this is a potato chip flavor — but I missed that memo.
No, I don't live under a rock — I just don't eat chips that often.
And when I do, I usually slip right past the variety of Lays flavors and onto the whole wheat tortilla chips — because I'm among those convinced this is somehow healthier — or kettle chips ... because those are a weakness.
So that means I somehow missed out on the "Do Us a Flavor" competition Lays held back in spring, asking customers to vote for their favorite flavors among three: Cheese Garlic Bread, Chicken & Waffles and Lay’s Sriracha, according to ABCNews.com.
Cheese Garlic Bread was announced as the winner in May, according to the ABC article, however the other flavors seemed to sneak by. I saw a bag of Chicken & Waffles potato chips at Pick N' Save today, and immediately thought — who would eat those?
Admittedly, I was instantly intrigued to try them at the same time, but could not bring myself to buy a bag.
