Brookfield East Student Needs Help to Win Dream Contest

A Brookfield East High student is working hard to meet her idols and looking for community support to put her over the top.

Sunday is the last day for voting in a contest in which the winner gets an all expense round trip to Los Angeles to meet celebrity beauty gurus Elle and Blair Fowler, plus $1,000 to go shopping with them and receive the duo's Cellairis cell phone case line.

Nina Bingen, who says the Fowler sisters are her inspiration, spent eight hours creating an accessorized cell phone case, plus extra touches to her hair, make up and fashion to match the phone, including some bling on her cheek. Entrants must submit a photo of their accessorized tech and receive the most votes to win.

Bingen had worked her way up to 7th place as of the time of this post.

"In order to win, I have to get as many votes as I possibly can by getting family, friends, and even the community to vote," she told Patch.

"Winning this contest would be a dream come true. My dad always told me to never give up on my dreams, so I took that advice and put it to use. I am the only one in the area of Milwaukee entering this contest, so the more votes I get, the better chance I have to pursue my dreams!"
