Electronics, Cash, Credit Cards Stolen During Brookfield Home Burglary

The incident took place while the residents were home.

Police are investigating a burglary of a Brookfield home after a thief got in through an unlocked patio door last week.

The incident took place on Thursday in a home in the area of Capitol Drive and Brookfield Road, according to Fox6Now.com. Electronics, a watch and the homeowner's wallet were stolen; the wallet held cash and credit cards that have since been fraudulently used.

The incident occurred between 9 p.m. and 1 a.m., the article said, and the residents were home.
