New Partners Join The Corners Project

A Minneapolis-based company is jumping on board The Corners project, a retail space proposed in the town of Brookfield.

A Minneapolis-based company is jumping on board The Corners project, a retail space proposed in the town of Brookfield.

CarVal Investors LLC, an independent subsidiary of Cargill, joins as a partner in the project, according to an article on JSOnline.com. The company will own 80 percent.

Milwaukee-based Marcus Corp. will continue on, owning 10 percent, the article said. M & J Wilkow Ltd. based in Chicago owns the last 10 percent. Developers plan to break ground this year, with the project complete in November 2015.
