Teaching Children Safety

Whether it be stranger danger, bike safety or fire escape, Safety Town teaches the youngest of children how to be safe.

An annual tradition in Brookfield, Safety Town teaches children how to be safe, whether it be riding their bikes, playing on equipment, responding to strangers or escaping from a fire.

Brookfield Community Services Officer Denise Carroll along with Deb Sellers has taught the two-week classes throughout Wisconsin to more than 4,000 kids over 26 years.

Carroll still has the same passion for safety as when she joined the Brookfield Police force in 1984. Β
