The Great Escape: Massage Therapy
Being a mother is a demanding, yet rewarding job. But even we need to take some personal time off now and again.
You’ve heard the saying “a happy mother means a happy family,” right? Well, it’s true. You fulfill multiple roles day in and day out, and that’s just within the home! In order to be a happy mother, you need time for you, even if it’s for a few minutes a day.
I’m sure you already know this. However, it can be tough to find something to do and make that time to get away for a bit. I know, because I’m a mother too. We spend an awful lot of time caring for everyone around us that we sometimes forget to give ourselves a dose of tender loving care.
Picture this: Your teens are holding a car wash at the high school Saturday. The grandparents volunteered to take the younger children to a movie Sunday afternoon. Your tweens take tap on Wednesday evening. It’s your time. Take it.
Sounds good, doesn’t it?
Starting this week, I’m going to help remind you to take that much needed and deserved “me time” in Patch’s weekly feature, ‘The Great Escape.’ Each week we’ll tell you about one great place you can escape to with your spouse, your girlfriends or by yourself.
This week, let’s pamper ourselves. After all, we have quite a bit of “me time” to make up. Let’s escape with a massage!
