Week Ahead: Spring Break and Sewer Inspections

Spring Break: Elmbrook Schools are on spring break until April 16. The Elmbrook School Board and Common Council meetings also are canceled this week.

Sewer Inspection Project: The City Water and Sewer Board will decide whether to approve an agreement with the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD) and Brown and Caldwell to fund and conduct sewer inspections on private properties in . In October, the to make millions of dollars in sewer fixes by 2016 to address overflows of untreated sewage and storm water or face penalties.

World War II Films: Film historian Dale Kunz will present a collection of clips from war-era movies at in the Library Community Room of the . The event is open to the public without registration. For more information, call the Adult Reference Desk at 262-782-4140.

Wine & Chocolate Soiree: The School Sisters of Notre Dame in Elm Grove are hosting an evening of "flavorful wine, decadent chocolate, fine fare, live entertainment by Frogwater and a silent auction." The event is from at the Notre Dame of Elm Grove, 13105 Watertown Plank Rd., Elm Grove. Proceeds benefit the Sisters' ministries and retired members. Cost is $40.
