Guests are invited to go ga-ga over the What to Expect When You’re Expecting pre-movie baby-themed event at the Marcus Majestic Cinema in Brookfield, Wis. on Sunday, May 20, 2012. The event beginning at 2:30 p.m. will feature dinner and the movie showing in the theatre’s Big Screen Bistro auditorium, prize giveaways, a baby-expert guest speaker, swag bags and other fun gifts. Expectant moms, dads, family and friends will all enjoy this unique and informative event.
The Majestic Cinema is partnering with local baby-focused businesses to host this special event. The afternoon will kick off with a pre-movie mocktail hour beginning at 2:30 p.m. featuring delightful non-alcoholic beverages, pregnancy craving-inspired hors d’oeuvres and a raffle. The raffle boasts great giveaways, including a WELL Spa + Janice Salon gift certificate, a golf outing package, two Snugli baby carriers, prenatal vitamins and a Mother Willow Tree figurine from Grandpa Frank’s. A guest speaker will also be available after the movie to provide informational pamphlets and answer any pregnancy-related questions attendees may have.
Expectant mothers will receive books and coupons from Goo Goo Gaa Gaa, MetroParent magazine, Belly Bars by Nutrabella, bottles and formula from Similac, gift bags from Babies “R” Us, including sunshades, a registry catalog and Babytalk magazine, goodie bags from Destination Maternity, Buy Buy Baby coupons and candy from the Majestic Cinema.

What to Expect When You’re Expecting starring Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Lopez, Chase Crawford, Brooklyn Decker, Elizabeth Banks and Matthew Morrison, looks at love through the eyes of five interconnected couples experiencing the thrills of having a baby, and coming to understand that no matter what you plan for, life doesn't always deliver what's expected.
The movie showing and dinner begin at 3:30 p.m. in the Majestic Cinema’s Big Screen Bistro auditorium. During the film, guests can enjoy one of the three entrees that have been specially created for the event. Choices include an Asian shrimp salad with peanut lime dressing, roasted chicken with homemade pickled vegetables and olives giardiniera over penne pasta or bacon wrapped beef tenderloin with cheesy grits.

Tickets for the movie are $10.00 per person. Tickets for the pre-movie event and dinner may be purchased for an additional $20.00 per person.
