Mixing Irish and Bluegrass at Starry Nights Concert

Irish and bluegrass will be mixed tonight for the free Starry Nights concert at the .

The band Paddygrass says on its web site, "We take well known Irish songs and give them a bluegrass feel, then take bluegrass and country classics and make them sound Irish."

The summer concert series runs through the end of July, at 6:30 p.m. Fridays. The concerts are held outside the center in Mitchell Park, 19805 W Capitol Dr. Patrons can bring their own chairs, tables, coolers and food or purchase food and drink from local vendors.
