Wilson Center Guitar Competition Highlights Variety of Genres, $22K in Prizes

The Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts will hold a 3-day event highlighting local and celebrity artists in several genres of guitar music.

The Guitar Competition & Festival is considered the "first annual," by the center and features guitarists age 15 to 30 in four genres: rock/blues; fingerstyle; jazz; and classical, according to the Wilson Center website.
