Brookfield Central Principal, Administrative Staff Resign From Elmbrook School District

Big administrative changes are in store at Brookfield Central High School for the 2013-14 school year.

Brookfield Central High School will see some major administration changes this school year after several top staff members have resigned.

Principal Don LaBonte is seeking to resign effective Tuesday, according to the Elmbrook School Board’s agenda. But he isn’t the only one to depart ways from the school lately.

LaBonte planned to retire at the end of the school year, according to a recent Elmbrook School District news release. The district hired Brett Gruetzmacher as a co-principal for a year of transition. Now, it looks like there won't be the year transition period.
