Football Starts Friday for Elmbrook Schools

Football starts this week for the Elmbrook School District with both Brookfield Central and Brookfield East high schools starting competition on Friday.

Brookfield Center takes the field at 7 p.m. at Racine Park High School. Brookfield East is playing at home against Waukesha West High School at home at 7 p.m.

The Greater Metro Conference is among the best in Wisconsin. Brookfield East was last year’s champion, but Hamilton’s Drew Patterson is the returning conference Player of the Year after gaining 1,969 yards on the ground.
