WISN: Car Fire Causes Closure on I-94

The fire started at about 12:30 p.m. and traffic was shut down for about 45 minutes.

All three lanes on Interstate 94 closed Friday afternoon after a car fire are now back open, according to Patch's news partners WISN.

The fire started at about 12:30 p.m., WISN reports, in the westbound lanes just west of Calhoun Lane. The highway was initially closed, and traffic was later routed passed the incident on the left shoulder.

All three lanes of traffic opened at about 1:15 p.m., according to WISN. No further details have yet been released.
