BEHS Forensics Wins 2nd at Whitefish Bay Invitational
The Brookfield East H. S. (BEHS) forensics team placed 2nd behind James Madison Memorial (JMM) at the Whitefish Bay Invitational on Saturday March 8th. Despite a strong showing of 305 points, the Spartans could not overcome JMM’s impressive 346 point 1st place finish. 14 BEHS team members made it through to the power round in 9 categories. The team’s 1st place finishers included Archit Baskaran, Elizabeth Smurawa, and Andrew Kluck. The team did have its first triathlon finisher this season with Hannah Shepherd taking 2nd for triple entered competitors. “What a long day, but a good one!”, said head coach Katie McClellan in an email.
