Local SUBWAY Owner Honored

There are plenty of positive stories every day that never make it to the news here in Brookfield. So let's take a moment to celebrate the positive. Let's take a moment to talk about Julie Henrichs and the people like her who make our community a place to call home.

After all, her commitment to excellence helps her local business grow and serve her community.

Henrichs was named the SUBWAY 2013 Multi-Unit Owner (MUO) of the Year for the USA – West North Central Region for her outstanding performance during the period of April 1, 2012 through March 31, 2013. Henrichs’ commitment to excellence helps her local business grow and serve her community.

Henrichs opened her first location in Waterford in 2003, then built her Burlington store in 2005, and recently opened her newest location in Brookfield in 2011. She participates in community sponsorship events, community donations and local marketing programs, which benefit local schools, churches and community centers.

“It has been my belief since I purchased my first store 10 years ago that my most heart-felt donation would be through feeding others,” Henrichs said.

Henrichs is a very detailed MUO and sets the bar high for each of her stores as well as staff. Henrichs is consistently active in the communities around her stores. Friendly customer service helps her retain new customers. Year after year, Henrichs continues to have one or more stores recognized regionally in Territory Owners Awards which are performance and excellence based.

“I believe my stores are successful because great sandwich artists and managers understand it is their job to serve the community they are in,” Henrichs said. “I am honored that Subway on a global level recognizes small business owners like me as a significant piece of a large company.”

The MUO Franchisees of the Year are determined by calculating which stores achieved highest growth during a specific period. The four variables include Sales Growth, Units Growth, Financial Strength Gain, Store Growth and Average Monthly Compliance Points.

The West North Central Region is one of 13 territories in North America.
