8-Twelve MVP Bar & Grill Announces New Name
The SURG Restaurant Group made the official announcement on its Facebook page.
The former 8-twelve MVP Bar & Grill has officially changed its name to Hom Wood Fired Grill, according to an announcement on its Facebook page.
SURG Restaurant Group decided to change the name as a way to drop Milwaukee Brewer Ryan Braun's connection to the restaurant after he admitted to using performance enhancing drugs, according to WISN.com. The organization believes the value in Braun's name has gone down since the announcement.
The restaurant has been open for just more than a year, launching in August 2012, and a second location was planned in theBayshore Mall in Glendale.
