Ahman Green Visits Sweet Frog Grand Opening

Former Green Bay Packers player William Henderson invited Green, Jerry Kramer and other former players to the grand opening of his new frozen yogurt store in Whitefish Bay.

Former Green Bay Packers player William Henderson brought in a couple of his Packers friends to visit his newest in Whitefish Bay Friday afternoon.

One of the players that stopped by was former running back Ahman Green, who retired one year ago. The team's all-time leading rusher now spends his time helping out the Oak Creek High School football team as the assistant running back coach and co-owning the Green Bay Blizzards indoor football team.

In a couple weeks, Green will be launching a new training facility, called D1, in Green Bay.

Posing for pictures and talking with fans at Sweet Frog Friday afternoon, Green said he is happy to support his friend and former teammate.

"It's good to see Will doing this in the community," he said.

As far as his old team, Green said he thinks the Packers look good this year, despite the tough loss to the 49ers last week.

"The first game is always going to be tough, especially against the 49ers, " he said. "The Packers looked good last night, though. They did what they were supposed to do, which is beat the Bears."

Henderson opened Sweet Frog at 404 E. Silver Spring Dr. on Aug. 27. Sweet Frog also has a location in Plover and plans to launch two more stores in Brookfield's Sendik's Towne Centre and DePere in the near future.
