Fresh Seafood Without Limits

Mitchell's Fish Market has an ever-changing menu offering 80 seafood choices.

  • Having difficulty deciding where to grab a bite to eat in the Brookfield area? Don't know where to turn for a good sandwich, a scrumptious Italian dish or a fantastic fish fry? That's where Patch comes in. Each week the Brookfield Patch finds a great restaurant worth checking out. Here is this week's pick:

If you are looking for fresh food, and seafood is your choice for lunch or dinner, then may be worth checking out.

There is much to choose from in this restaurant, including lobsters swimming in a large tank close to the entrance which are sold by the pound to customers. If you are dining in, the restaurant has large dining rooms and a spacious bar room and oyster bar to help make your dining experience comfortable.

Among the 80 fresh seafood selections offered on the menu, the restaurant serves six kinds of oysters on the half shell daily at the bar and in the back of the main dining room. The restaurant proves its “fresh fish” label by having its chefs cut the fish almost daily in a temperature-controlled fish-cutting room.

Besides its “Today's Fresh Catch” found on the menu which is printed daily, Mitchell's Fish Market also offers chef specialties, seafood-dominated appetizers, soup, salads, sandwiches and desserts. They also have a menu devoted to people with gluten intolerances.

Prices range from $10.95 for Sam Adams beer-battered fish and chips for lunch to $32.95 for Chilean sea bass for dinner. Every day after 4 p.m., small plate appetizers are served in the bar for less than $3.

They also allow customers to make reservations for tables or to check availability online.
