GSF President Named 'Legend of Lending' in Mortgage Magazine

Coster says legendary firms are filled with leaders who are completely immersed in the history, value and culture of their firm. They view themselves as the keepers of the flame, with responsibilities to those who came before them, those with whom they currently work and serve, and those who will follow in their footsteps.

Despite the rocky past of the mortgage industry, Jampedo is embracing the future with lending opportunities in the emerging millennial market of homebuyers.  Jampedro has taken proactive steps by updating and expanding the brand, web presence and social media efforts.

“Although the Internet has changed the way that people do business, customers still rely heavily on word-of-mouth recommendations, a reliance that’s especially true in mortgage and housing industries. When it comes to big purchases such as homes, customers consistently turn to the Web first,” says Jampedro.

As for future growth, Jampedro says they will continue to add branches where there is a strategic fit. They are looking for experienced branch managers who understand the concept of running a branch and want to get back to originating.

Jampedro was named President of GSF Mortgage January 1st, 2013. He began his career with GSF in 2011, when he was first hired as a Loan Originator. Throughout the years, Jampedro held several positions within GSF, earned his real estate broker’s license, served as president of the Wisconsin Mortgage Professional Association and received his Certified Mortgage Planning Certification along the way.  He was also selected as the National Mortgage Professionals 40 under 40 in 2011.
