Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory to Open Brookfield Store

Shop at Brookfield Square would be the company's second one in Wisconsin.

Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, which has more than 300 gourmet chocolate stores around the world, is planning to open a location at Brookfield Square, the Journal Sentinel reports.

The store, which is expected to open in November, would be the company's second location in Wisconsin. The shop in Delafield features more than 300 varieties of handmade chocolates and confections, including caramel apples and fudge.

The average store size is about 1,000 square feet, and most stores are open seven days a week, according to the company. About 40 percent of the candy sold at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory stores are prepared on the premises.
