Brookfield, Wis. – Tom Hille, CFP®, Branch Manager of the Greater Milwaukee office of Ameriprise Financial, has been nominated for the Ameriprise Branch Manager Outstanding Leader Award.

The award recognizes leaders who succeed in mentoring a team and growing the branch. Hille was part of a select group nominated from 120 Ameriprise Financial offices nationwide. He leads 23 financial advisors and six staff at offices in Brookfield and Madison.

Wow. That is a huge surprise. So, how much did he pay for the honor? A promise not to lay his worker off? In my opinion the choice of this guy is woefully lacking in structure and common sense. Many more more qualified and clearly better choices in the Milwaukee area. What a joke they have made of this honor.

Carl, your comment illustrates complete ignorance of this award and who can submit nominations, not to mention how the local Ameriprise offices operate. Besides, shouldn't you be out chasing gophers, or cleaning goose doo-doo off the putting greens?
