Cub Scout Pack 23 Rallies Around Food Drive

Pack 23 is participating in the annual Scouting for Food campaign.

Food insecurity is a growing problem in our community, especially at this time of year when food pantries have depleted their supply of holiday donations.

To address this need, Pack 23 is participating in the Potawatomi Area Council’s annual Scouting for Food campaign.

Scouts will distribute bags to local homes on Saturday, March 16th; these bags can then be filled with non-perishable food and toiletry items and placed out for pick-up by 9:30 AM next Saturday, March 23rd.  Bags will be picked up between 9:30 and 12:00 PM.

If you do not receive a bag but would like to contribute, please bring your items to St. Luke's Catholic Church/Heritage Christian School at 18000 W. Greenfield Avenue in Brookfield on Saturday, March 23rd between 9:30 and 12:00 pm.

The Council aims to collect over 200,000 food items for local pantries through this year’s campaign.  Your help would be greatly appreciated!
