Dense Fog Leads to Weather Advisory

Waukesha and other Milwaukee-area counties are under a dense fog advisory for Tuesday morning, and also face a hazardous weather forecast for the rest of the week.

Rainy conditions in Southeastern Wisconsin is causing the entire area to be under a dense fog advisory, according to theΒ National Weather Service.

Visibility in Waukesha, Milwaukee and other southeastern counties was reduced to about a quarter-mile or less, and will last much of Tuesday morning. The National Weather Service also reports a hazardous weather outlook for the rest of the week because of the front.

"There is a slight risk of severe thunderstorms as a strong low pressure and a warm front approaches the region, especially this afternoon and evening," the weather outlook says.

That warning holds true Wednesday through Monday, and the moist conditions will likely continue to produce heavy fogs all week.
